Vegetable BoxWhat is the Weekly Vegetable Box Program?Our farm 'Les Légumes à Daniel' is proud to introduce the Vegetable Box Program. During the months of July, August and September a vegetable box will be provided once a week for those participating in this program. All the fruits and vegetables in this box are grown at the farm situated in Sainte-Rosette (close to Robertville). The boxes will be available for pick up at the farm or at any of the drop off locations that will be set up in certain areas around the vicinity. When taking part in this program, you commit to receiving one box every week for the whole season. How much does it cost?
How can I participate? Please fill up this form and click the submit button in order to send your request or by telephone. Registration limit date is April 1 2022 or after if place is still available. Please use legdaniel@hotmail.com for E-Transfer. Do not forget to send us the E-Transfer security answer to the same email. The payment chosen must be send with your application. The first delivery will begin on June 30 and the last delivery on September 1. Thank You! What's in the boxes?Two sizes of box are available: half-box (for approximate 2 persons) or a full box (for approximate 4 persons) of fruit and vegetables grown on our farm. The box content varies during the season according to the fruit and vegetable being ready for harvest at the time. The content of the box will be smaller during the beginning and end of the season and bigger during the month of August. During the season it will be possible to purchase larger volume of product that for freezing or processing. Example: boxes of broccoli or flat of strawberry. These extra items can be delivered with your weekly box as ordered.
Where do you get the boxes? Boxes can be picked up at our farm or at the point of delivery in your area. Last year we had three pickup points. One in Bathurst at Nipisiguit River Store on Saint Anne street, in Beresford at JB Levesque and one in Petit-Rocher at the food bank Coup de Pouce. Deliveries are made each Thursday at the following hours:
Can I stop this program anytime? Yes, your payment will be reimbursed. However, you will not be allowed to participate the following year unless your reason for abandoning was justified. Can I change the contents of my box? No. We do not make boxes on demand. What if I can't pick up my box of vegetable? We suggest you find somebody to pick it up for you. You will not be reimbursed for boxes that are not picked up. At the end of the day, unclaimed boxes will be brought to a local food bank. What If I cannot receive my box during my vacation? Unfortunately, vegetables don't have a vacation schedule therefore we cannot accept any cancelations while people are on vacation.
